I agree with you on this Neferti. It is disgusting. Carr and his wife have no children and are very wealthy, but are still happy to rip off taxpayers to fund their luxury semi-retirement which is how they look at this position. Carr is not doing anything positive for this country.

It is unbelievable that Gillard just handed Carr the Foreign Minister-ship. Us Taxpayers are paying for his fun and games and travel extravaganza. I can't stand the look of the man, sneaky and creepy looking. He may be well off these days but geeze, it is ALL taxpayers dollars that got him there. Typical ALP though.

I lived in Sydney for 15 years, so I did "know" the place. Carr always looked sneaky to me. He still does. .... I was busy doing other stuff there so can't recall who/what the State Government was at the time.

State politics really doesn't interest me that much. Federal Politics doesn't either for that matter. Once they are ensconced, you couldn't pry them open without Legal Action!
