Apart from the rainbow round about, the rainbow bus and rainbow number plates, I thought there was a plan to paint the bus shelters rainbow too. Not to worry, it is ONLY the ACT Rate payer's money.

What are you talking about? It still is the norm, by a fucking huge margin. Not that you'd think it, by the amount of whinging the offended minority does about transgenders. It's a small number of cases, that mostly don't effect others in the slightest.

My point is for people to even be discussing this and for some gender challenged sports-Shims to even consider playing sport as women shows the rules and acceptance that they cannot play as women is not 100% understood everywhere.

While it is a small minority, they should not be playing competitively in women's teams or against real women in sport.

I don't care if they are gay or transgender. I don't care if they look like the perfect women, if their DNA says they are men, they do not play. I have seen men who look like women (include boob jobs) they could pass as women. (well to men anyway, women seem to be able to tell immediately)

DNA test all sports people. Microchip them all. Tattoos on their arms with a serial number.

Maybe we should have a separate sports category like the special Olympics. Sports played by He and She plus Shims. Tackles are optional, false camels foots mandatory.

I agree with not allowing them in most competitive women's sports... social grades may be different. If you grow up male, there are physiological differences that don't go away, even with hormone treatment.

Don't know why you need to go all microchip/tattoo crazy about it, unless you're trying to be satirical...

Basically, sport is not real life... it's up to the sporting bodies to ensure that they put on fair games. They need to deal with it, as they would drugs, doping, hormones, and other rules of their given sports. Some may find there is no unfair advantage (hell, some sports probably should have no male/female separation anyway).

But in general society, just leave them the fuck alone if you don't like them.

I have absolutely nothing against the gay community, even our progressive church welcomes them with open arms and heart's.

I really dislike derogatory language which serves to degrade and dehumanize them.
