Can't the question of Yes/No to homosexual marriage just be added to the next Federal Election? Isn't that what happened when we voted to change the National Anthem?

A Plebiscite is very democratic and the stalling shyte is just Labor propaganda... this would have been sorted back in March if not for Labor.

The Senate is expected to reject the Federal Government's second attempt at holding a same-sex marriage plebiscite, clearing the way for a postal vote by the end of the year.
After a two-hour partyroom debate, Liberal MPs voted overwhelmingly in favour of maintaining the party's policy, defeating a push by some backbenchers for a free vote in Parliament.
Only seven Liberals voted in favour of change: Warren Entsch and Trevor Evans (Qld); Tim Wilson and Jason Wood (Vic); John Alexander and Trent Zimmerman (NSW); and Senator Dean Smith (WA).
In a bid to quell the internal unrest while honouring its election commitment, the Coalition will try for a second time to hold a plebiscite and if that fails, it has promised to hold a postal vote to settle the issue.
What happens now?
The idea of a free vote on same-sex marriage took another spin around the Liberal partyroom and came up with seven votes. Let's take a look at what happens now.
Finance Minister Mathias Cormann said he hoped the bill for a plebiscite would go to the Senate this week.
"Our preference is to give the Australian people a say through a compulsory attendance plebiscite," he said.
"Should that not succeed through the Senate, the Government believes that there is a legal and constitutional way forward to give the Australian people a say through a non-legislated, voluntary postal plebiscite."
The minister would not say how much a postal vote would cost, nor how it would work, and opponents have already vowed to launch a legal challenge.
Whether you are for or against SSM the people really should take a stand. The Libs were voted in on the platform of a plebiscite for SSM and are not only blocked from doing so, legal challenges are being threatened? How much is that going to cost the taxpayer?
Is there any point in voting for any party at all anymore? I think people in the future are going to be less and less likely to even bother.
Mr Entsch said he was disappointed with the outcome of Monday's meeting and reserved the right to agitate for another free vote on same-sex marriage should the plebiscite return a no vote, potentially crossing the floor to side with Labor.
"I have put it on the record, if it comes back no, I reserve my right as a Liberal to call on a vote," he said.
Ebtsch is a moron and should be retired. It's obvious these idiots care not one bit about letting Aussie's have their say. For or against we NEED to have the opportunity to voice our opinion. After all, it is OUR money these idiots continue to waste.

Where Rudd squibbed it by curling into the foetal position and sucking his thumb in the corner?
Nah, it's more like the ALP and hypocrites like Wong swaying in the breeze like she's mounted on her girlfriends rubber dildo.
No moral standing whatsoever. Much like yourself.

Now Turnbull wants to piss $122 million of our money against the wall for a postal vote about
perverted poo pushers.
There are far more important issues &
that money would be borrowed money - as usual.

Since when did you lefty's ever care about public money being pissed up against the wall?
You're responsible for much more than a paltry $122M that lets the actual voters have a say.
