As I pointed out, he gave many reasons why carbon pricing is the way to go and why a tax is better than an ETS. Some of them hinge on needing to greatly increase our efforts at cutting emissions.

Rorschach, please don't repeat yourself. I am not contradicting what you said about Abbott supporting a tax because it is easy to repeal. I am merely pointing that it was not the only reason, and that some of the reasons Abbott gave for why a tax is the best option hinge on us making even deeper cuts to our emissions. Repeating yourself, as you have done, merely demonstrates your failure to comprehend this point.
