The argument here is about Jews in Australia and the Education thereof. I care less about it. Jews in Australia are a minority. Jews in the World are a minority. Is America or the UN going to create a Muslim State somewhere in the ME so that ALL Muslims can congregate in "peace"? That would be fair. Then the Catholics and Protestants might like a State somewhere to congregate as well. Hey?

Could you imagine the outrage if Muslims demanded the same thing, this and requested our government provide Muslim public schools just for their offspring and noone else?

I'm not a Jew hater Neferti - they just irritate me immensely because it's all about their needs and wants at the expense of everyone else. Judaism is a selfish and greedy religion as much as Islam is violent and often backward looking. I'll lump the Exclusive Bretheren in with that lot also, although they usually keep to themselves and don't inflict their doctrine on outsiders.

And the fact that they are now demanding Jewish public schools that the rest of us have to pay for, though aren't permitted to send our kids to on the basis of them not being Jewish speaks for itself.

What are the benefits of a non-Jew learning Hebrew?

It's a bit like funding schools to teach Pig-Latin only far less insulting to non denominational taxpayers.


Never mind the kids who are struggling with mathematics and science... for Jews learning Hebrew is so much more important.

To this I will add, it's the Ashkenazi Jews who cash in on being a victimous minority group in this country, not so much the Sephardic, as they are a minority within a minority, this and are generally more sympathetic towards Palestinians also.

Guess what? My interest in Jews is NIL. Only 0.4% of them in Australia they are a minority group and keep to themselves. No wonder you and Mantra get on. She is a Jew hater as well.

Why are you targeting me personally and calling me a Jew-hater because I am unimpressed with the manner in which school funding is being disproportionately allocated?

It's reverse discrimination in all it's glory.

Why should prestigious and comparatively wealthy Jewish schools receive more security funding (56%) than any other school?

Are they special?

And if that's not bad enough, now they are by their own admission trying to take-over our state schools, have found a way to have their children taught the way they want them taught (the Hebrew way) in our state schools.
They are becoming quite aggressive, are dictating public expenditure and even demanding the Jewdinisation of our public schools, all for what?

A minority?

Our public schools are in serious need of many things...ie, resources, teachers, more funding, support classes, ...sorry, but Hebrew classes and teachers isn't one of them, given only a tiny percent of Australia stands to benefit from such a indulgent and self-centred provision.

Mantras right, they are an inherently selfish race of people, this is why they have trouble assimilating.

Of course, we could always give them Tasmania but would it stop there?
