Monk hasn't predicted anything right for the last 4 years.

He's just hanging on to Gillard because without her upping the primary, they are dead meat even with Rudd. Drafting Rudd will only be to save the furniture- and I think it would be the best thing for Labor in the long run.

Rudd doesn't suck up to the unions and they don't like it. Faulkner has already come out and said that the way forward it to divest the Labor party from the union movement.

Labor needs to be gutted to reform...reform it's on its way whether it likes it or not

Melbourne election will be a catalyst

With 40 percent of the vote counted, the Greens are leading Labor 52-47 on a two-party preferred basis.

Get used to that,a lot of ex Labor voters are not going to vote Lib. The Greens will pick up a swag of Labor seats come the next federal election.

Never thought I'd say this but....

With 50% of the vote counted; the ALP are leading the greens on sex party preferences.

#MelbVotes 2PP after all 14 Booths: ALP 50.75 (10472 votes) GRN 49.25 (10164 votes) #auspol
Greens on the slide into history! ALP the one true progressive party!

Fuck the Greens, pretentious middleclass twats! Decent people don’t like ASs being left to drown. That will come to haunt the Libs too!

It takes a true believer to hail a 6% swing away as a victory.

Greens spent a massive $250K on the bi-election—one seat that wouldn’t change anything! Massive spend, hope it bankrupts them!

Postal/prepolls will favor Labor.

Oh dear, I guess this means IQ is loading up on codeine and booze.

Melbourne 2012 is a taste of 2013 when Gillard wins the general election.

Tonight is a foretaste of 2013. Greens vote to decline fairly rapidly—some members no doubt unhappy at Greens massive spend in what was only a bi–election and an election they lost at that. GhostWhoVotes is always spot on.
