Tears are welling up in his eyes as he cant understand how his deepest, darkest secrets have been revealed for all to see. The rage and clenched fists as he realises that these secrets now revealed, will go on to haunt him for years in cruel taunts like he has suffered all his life from.

Getting on the internet he thought he could be safe and reinvent himself into a new persona. No one knew him! This wasnt like the school yard where he was subject to taunts from the other children due to his unusual facial characteristics. No one could see his face! On the internet he could just be a normal person and would be able to show off his intellect and everyone would love him. His funny jokes and ribald sense of humour would endear him to all and there he could be the one thing he could never be in real life- popular!

It was all he ever wanted. To be liked. A deep seated yearning for the other children to want him to be a part of their activities, but alas, with his misshapen head his childhood was a memory he tried to later block with alcohol and opiates.

Now, finding himself back in such similar circumstances to the school yard all he can do is let the tears cascade down his flattened face, his shoulders slumped forward and by the dim glow of the computer monitor, he hangs his head and weeps. The realisation that he weeps alone and always will turns the tears into a deep, body aching sob that he knows...no one will ever hear.
