Mal Brough won his seat and is already being groomed to be a future Liberal leader.
The ALP are well aware of his charismatic nature which is why they tried valiently to discredit him earlier this year - before even being elected.

Christian Porter is another newly elected Liberal member who is also being groomed to be a future Liberal leader.
With the new blood of the Liberals it looks very promising for a continual Liberal National Party government
Most likely Malcolm Turnbull won't be Liberal leader again.

Well, you know fuck all!

Brough was terrible as Minister and got the biggest swing against him in Qld in 2007! He is involved in Ashbygate and has many questions to answer, even a court case.

No, I mean Libs need to be-rid themselves of Turnbull altogether.

When Tony forms cabinet, i'd like to think Malcolm the wrecking-ball isn’t in it.

A big ask?

Perhaps, but definitely something to consider early on this time, rather than wait until he starts his usual shenanigans in the lead up to the next election.

This would have to be the only decent and humble speech I have ever seen Rudd give, albeit a tad delusional.

Addendum - I spoke too soon :rofl
