It seems, the Greens have caved....

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/nation ... 6600105478

Uh, oh....  Too bad for them, they will cop the slack for this now too.

This, and wont get the desired media coverage to settle the score once Labor wipes it's ass with them.

Remember, Labors only saving grace will be that they were "shackled" by the Greens, those they formed a minority government with out of perceived necessity, so it goes without saying that Labor will blame them for all their policy failures, in order to persuade disillusioned grass-roots Labor voters to give them yet another chance, and this time without the Greens meddlesome interference.

Shorten is steering this sunk ship, and has absolutely no intentions of offering Greens a life raft because doing so will compromise his own popularity when all he has to lure votes back with is his contempt for the Greens, and his predecessors shortcomings.

Greens need to make a stand now, this and not be seen as supporting this mangled ALP wreck which will turn it's back on them the second this reform is passed.

Again, I doubt it will get through, but if it does, then it's all over for the Greens.

Milne needs to mind that she doesn't cut her nose off to spite her face.

If she thinks it reassuring to align with Labor now.... she will feel quite differently come September.

See, it's started already....

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/gillar ... 6582250817

Of course, the important thing is that Greens have reasonable access to press (albeit, a bit less since their Labor divorce)..though should they agree to Gillards media reforms, articles like the above, and even more as Shorten (who hates the Greens and blames them for Labors woes) takes poll position will feature prominently in our Labor dictated media.

News-poles demonstrate that only 13% of voters are happy with a Labor-Greens minority government whilst some 45% believed a minority government was a complete failure.

So... Labor really aren't worried about Greens preferences this time round, as distancing themselves from the Greens will win votes...the only thing Labor want from Greens is their support for their 'barbaric' policy.

And even then, it really doesn't matter anymore, Labor know they are finished, and plane to wipe the slate clean with Bill Shorten (minus the Greens) ...after the election defeat.

Greens blind hatred of the Coalition ...and all things Tony Abbott is unbalanced and somewhat hypocritical, given Labor are far more worthy of their hatred, and probably would be if they sat back and thought about it.

Greens need to finally grow up and stop the petty pointless schoolgirl squabbling so typical of a young minor party (or a student lobby/union) who really has no clear direction when it comes to the execution of their own policies, and that of other party's they blindly support.

The Greens are not a young party anymore, and should be more politically savvy and mature than they are and probably would be if they weren't constantly grappling for the minority vote and trying to appeal to youth.

The trouble is, their vote-base grows up, this and often stops voting Green.

Pity Bob Brown couldn't, and left them with a terminal bout of Peter Pan Syndrome.

Milne would do better making her own Greens brand, she's like a semi-retired cook who's lumbered into an old restaurant thats had the same chef for over 30 years and is sticking to the same menue.

There are plenty of would be mature Greens supporters who would probably appreciate a less extreme and more grass-roots 'Australia' orientated party.

I reckon combine Pauline Hanson with Christine Milne.... then they might strike some semblance of balance.

MORON....

get someone to explain Shadow Minister to you :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

You're so dumb you don't know how bad and stupid you are making yourself look, trying to weasel out of it.
Would've been easier to just admit you were wrong in the first place instead of posting page after page proving it.

Pick on someone your own size Rorsch and leave Mel alone.

She's right in the fact that Turnbull can't make any real promises as he isn't in government yet. Same as Abbott. The opposition will say whatever it takes to make them look good, but once they get in - there will be a string of broken promises and lies. Most leaders of nations these days have to answer to a higher power, not the citizens and it will also suit those pulling the strings if the media is gagged.

I know Malcolm is Shadow minister, but like I said, he's not quite our Minister for Communications just yet, so he should probably hold off promising his Point Piper mates privy.

8-) ....

If I were Abbott, I'd sack the grub as soon as I won the election because he's too unpredictable and treacherous.

I know why they are reluctant to ditch him, and this is unfortunate.

But surely, between them they can find a way?

He will try to destroy it for Tony, ... They're like chalk and cheese.

A friend of my son's (a former member of the young liberals) said Malcolm was a real tosser, show-off.

He takes young libs out for dinner, splashes his money around and spends most of the night talking about himself, and what he would do if he were the Leader of the opposition once more. A real braggart.

Trying too hard to be cool in the company of uni students.

Even they thought he was a tosser.

Seriously, Libs need to keep him away from them.... he's turning them off.

Newsflash Malcolm. You were leader of the opposition, and you failed.

Malcolm would be the type to vote in favor of the new Media package....being the comrade that he is because then he could have even more gravitas and carry more clout over on Chan 7 and Y!7 digital with his besty mate Bruce.
Bruce probably cant stand him either, just puts up with him.lol

8-)

Most people find him painful.

He has a clan of bloggers who regularly post how wonderful he is.

And I am certain he is the ring leader.

Fcuk off mantra... she was wrong and just doesn't have to courage to admit it, so she's lying, obfuscating and trying to weasel her way out.
Every time she lies she keeps it going.

I don't even like Turnbull, I've said a great many times he should be in the Labor Party, she just keeps it going because she thinks I like him :rofl :rofl :rofl Seems she gets lots wrong eh?
BTW she's the bully not me. YOU are an imbecile though.
