You always say that mantra it's your universal excuse... but facts are facts whether you choose to believe them or not.
There was a long discussion here recently on whether a certain scientific theory was a fact - there was no conclusion. There might be a spiel used at ballot boxes to reassure everyone that everything is hunky dory - but others who work there might see things differently. It is up to an individual to decide whether they believe something is a fact or opinion or a theory.

I wasn't thinking of Abbott being in office when I made the above comments IQ - but obviously if he gets in then that will be a fact that he is PM and obviously a reality.

Ten people can see the same incident, yet everyone can have a different perception of what actually occurred. To reach a conclusion - an authority has to "surmise" these different opinions. His/her surmisation isn't necessarily fact as there will be others who disagree with the conclusion.

Fact is something we can touch and see. A rock is hard. A baby human is soft. An opinion, surmisation or theory is not a fact.

Well what I told you was based on working there.

Not usually. A fact is a fact... The moon orbits the earth. Most people who are educated believe this to be true. Believe this to be a fact. what do you believe?

I don't vote, and there's not a thing anyone can do about it. Compulsory or not.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?
