I think it was, it just doesn't suit the Liberal party propaganda machine to admit that.

The biggest swing in Australian electoral history demonstrates GALP (Labor and Greens) have lost their gloss.

Saturday's state election has markedly changed the situation in the Legislative Council though, with the balance of power having shifting from the Greens to the coalition.

It's expected that the Coalition will end up with 19 of the 42 Upper House seats, while Labor will be reduced to 14. And whilst Greens gained a seat, they expected to have gained 3, this and were very disappointed to have lost the two that would have been enough to convince their supporters they were still powering along...when it's become apparent, they are all but washed up with Oakeshott and Windsor...together with the ALP.

The Coalition only needs 22 votes to achieve their objective in the Legislative Council (they already have 19 in the bag)....thats probably where the three Bob Brown probably would have liked to have got but didn't.
8-) The Greens only have 5.

Bob Browns philosophy is....if you cant make it fake it... though unfortunately for him, Wayne Swans ass isn't as tight as it used to be.

And neither is your's Skip.

So not going to explain how you managed not to vote for Pauline?
The Mayans predicted the end of the world in December 2012, but they didn't see the Spanish coming

Don't hold your breath. Mel has a reputation for avoiding things that make her look like a dumb ass.
