That is a bit irrelavent really as our wages were keeping pace with interest rates.

I was paying off my home during that period and coped OK

I do wonder if it happened now could the young ones of today cope as they have borrowed massive amounts for their homes.

Anyhow Bill will prevent that happening when he gets in!
