The Wentworth Electorate is chock full of Doctors' Wives, Champagne Socialists and the various LGTB crowd. Apart from the millionaires, there are lots of renters in the Electorate. Remember that, before Turncoat, they had Hewson ... another leftie small l-liberal.

I am not surprised that the Doctor "won", she suits the region well as there are very few "conservatives" still alive in Wentworth. The conservatives died out long ago.

Plus, it has little to do with Turncoat ... the sooner we forget him, the better.

The ABC coverage, which was claimed to be an exclusive, portrayed Dr Phelps as a victim ahead of Saturday’s Wentworth by-election, and insinuated it was coming from the Liberals. The reporting also failed to mention that the email also smeared Mr Sharma, Mr Kenny said.

“If you’ve seen the full text of the email you’d know and others would know that it certainly contains vile and despicable smears against Kerryn Phelps, but it also contains vile and despicable smears against me,” Mr Sharma said.

“It contained hateful, and nationalist and vile rhetoric that should never be given a platform unless there’s some sort of compelling public interest.

“Now, I don’t know the ins and outs of it but it seems pretty clear to me that if it was a nutter as you said who’s put this out.

“And I just wonder why the ABC didn’t make the same decision other news outlets did and decide not give these sorts of views a platform and a profile because there’s any number of cranks out there writing any number of nasty things about people at any given time, certainly during the course of an election, and we shouldn’t be encouraging that, we certainly shouldn’t be amplifying those sorts of hateful and spiteful voices,” Mr Sharma said.

Where were all these postal votes held?
Who had control over these postal votes?

Postal Votes apparently favour the Conservatives. They have until 2 November for those postal votes to arrive and be counted. Plus they are apparently sent "snail mail".

The use of Tory describes the Liberal/National parties quite well. They believe in the Monarchy, they are without exception invariably Capitalist in their viewpoint and they enjoy ripping off their fellow Australians with great glee.

I am unsure why some people believe it is acceptable to refer to people of the Left as "Leftards" as "Commies" and so on, when in reality they are not. If it is acceptable to do that, I see no reason why we shouldn't call the Tories, well, Tories. I could use far worse, far more descriptive words if you like? Mmmm?
