No, not really.

Do you think Abbott will still be at the helm come election time? If not, who do you think will take over from him?

Does this forum have a highlight function?
I think Abbott will still be there at the next election. He will probably reshuffle the Cabinet though.

There is no highlight function here and you are limited to how many "quotes" you can do per post as well. You'll get a message if you exceed the "quotes" ... it used to be 3 quotes but I think Skippy changed that to 5?

Interesting. Of course you are not alone, there's a few others that believe this too.

I'm inclined to think so too Nef, and think a few initial teething problems won't deter voters at the next federal election once they realise Abbotts positives (kept promises) far outweigh his minor misdemeanors.

You most likely thought that Qld LNP would have won the election too, maybe you even thought that Newman would have kept his seat.

I bet you thought Chris Bowen knew the tax thresholds in Australia...

I think we can only wait and see how Abbott shapes up after his wake up call.

What has that got to do with Newman.

I couldn't care if he knew them or not, he's got internet access, he could just google it if he wanted to know. He, like most people would have a rough idea. I thought it was $18,000, who cares.

I bet you thought that Tony Abbott was a two term prime minister.......

About as much as Newman has to do with Turnbull, you stupid bint.

Of course you couldn't. You're a lefty. Lack of knowledge is a badge of honor to your ilk.

Just because you prefer a dumb fuck who lacks even the most basic of knowledge of his job as a wannabe treasurer, doesn't mean we all want a dumb fuck as treasurer. We ended up with Swan and $400Bn worth of deficits last time you and your lot decided that "Dumbfucks R us"
Dame Pansi wrote: He, like most people would have a rough idea. I thought it was $18,000,
He had no rough idea. He had no clue. Neither do you, so it would seem.
Dame Pansi wrote: who cares.
Lots of people who expect a wannabe treasure to know basic information pertinent to their job.

I bet you thinking would be a difficult and painful experience that you dont do very often.

Our ABC is stirring the pot, again. Arseholes. I really wish they would stop citing Turnbull as Abbott's replacement. I for one, will NOT vote for the Libs if Turnbull replaces Abbott as PM. If you read around you will find that us "rusted on" Liberals feel the same. I would vote Informal.

Abbott should sack Turnbull and give his Portfolio to somebody who will do what needs to be done with Our ABC (and SBS). The only people who want Turnbull are the ALP voters and they won't vote for him either.

Rusted on ALP don't want Turnbull, because they know he would pretty much ensure another term in opposition (at the very least) if the Liberals actually stood behind him (this time). It's the middle political ground who wants him as the Liberal leader. They crave an economically conservative government who arn't hard core arseholes in the social sphere.
