How does it benefit us all?

Less public funds spent on health care
Thats BS since dental is not covered by public funds. The incident of health things brought on by not getting an abscess seen to is would not be changed by the ingestion of fluoride.

Fluoridation is a cheap preventative
Its not a preventative though. In fact the only reason they can get you ppl to believe it is is because the effects take about 20-30 years to show (cracked teeth).

I'm going to try and be nice here even though I have already explained this once before in this thread. Inadequate dental hygiene causes other health problems that are covered by public funds.
Do not make the vein in my forehead stand out anymore please.
Thank you.

Oh really? No problemo? So you have stats to prove that yass is a city of no tooth decay?

We used to have some pretty archaic ideas on dental care, not that long ago. I've talked to someone who has been living with dentures since early adulthood due to a being in a rural Australian community where "prenuptial dental extraction" of young women was seen as a health budget "investment". Young women would have their teeth extracted before marriage as a sort of dowry, whereby their prospective husbands would not need to have ongoing dental bills.
Each loss of a tooth has related health and longevity issues. I suggest you do all you can to keep yours in your head as long as you can.

My mother had all her teeth removed before she was 25. I never went to a dentist until I was 30. Go every 6 month for a clean since.
When I was 17 I said I had bleeding gums, Mother said... she had the same and it must be hereditary. I believed her. Cleaned my teeth everyday. All the extended family had false teeth. Their education on dental hygiene is pretty close to zero. That accepted their children would lose their teeth. Thank god for Fluorinated water is all I can say.
I still have all m teeth but have some damage for all those years before thirty were I didn't have a good deep clean.
I could have been gumming my way through life.
