Re: Election 2013
The last thing I heard today was the tail end of an Abbott interview. The broadcaster was sucking up to him - a far cry from the disgusting way he treated Rudd publicly yesterday. He is still the pm and deserves a bit of respect.
Abbott's parting stuttering words were don't vote for the small parties. Creep. The power has gone to his head already and he hasn't even won.

Most major party's don't want the votes to go to small parties unless that are aligned on the preferences.mantra wrote:The last thing I heard today was the tail end of an Abbott interview. After tomorrow it will be a refreshing change to be able to tune into the ABC without having to hear all the red carpet treatment handed out to the ALP.

Based on the above 2pp.

Liberal/Coalition 89 Labor 58 Other 3

There are 3 million postal votes which won't be tallied for a few days. They might make a difference to some of the independents and small parties.Rorschach wrote:Based on the above 2pp.

I believe there have been a number of errors too. People spending their time numbering below the line and then finding out they voted for the wrong party.
Re: Election 2013
The House Of Reps How To Vote cards handed out in our electorate did not indicate what the candidates political party were.

Rather than watching the election unfold on tv you may want to listen to it on 2GB.
Tune in the election with Alan Jones, Michael Costa and Andrew Bolt
