The ALP, when in Government, have all these bright ideas. They sit around the Kitchen Table and think up stuff to spend taxpayers money on. They just use the plastic and buy up big. Bogans. Spend more than you will ever, ever earn. Go Bankrupt ... no problem ... it will all come out in the wash. Australia does NOT need this sort of people running the Country.
Here's another ratlike face.
How about toads?

So NBN will save the day. This doesn't tell a good story. I'm really glad that NBN is such a success.... NOT. I guess the supporters will claim it's not fully rolled out but it is being rolled out so why it's that improving the statistics.
Can one of your Pro-NBN nutters explain WTF is going on.
Australian internet speeds have fallen again compared to the rest of the world, says a new survey.
Average Australian connection speeds fell 2.5 per cent in the third quarter of 2012 as the country sank to 40th in the world,

Implementing a more agile cost effective technological solution driven by industry rather than government would have had a better impact than a huge white elephant. NBN is trying to eat the elephant in one go. Place a bet on a winner. Take forever to get rolled out. Cost too much just so little johnning can download his porn a little faster.
The biggest growth in computing is mobile smart phones and tablets. PCs are in decline and here Australia goes, betting on the past without really understanding the future and that future is not certain as new innovation with change the direction every 5-10 years.

No telco is going to spend anything on their infrastructure for the next 10-20 years because of the ALP's interference.
Watch as we slip even further behind because these fucking idiots have no clue on how technology, markets or business works

Not a big fan of Malcolm Turnbull but it appears he is doing his job as Communications spokesman. He was on 2GB yesterday and was making a lot of sense. perhaps he should stop going on LW Prog shows like Q&A and stick to talking and writing about his portfolio.
Probably going to be one of these...

Another nail in coffin full of taxpayer money
Through improved compression techniques, H.265 will enable publishers to stream 1080p video with about half as many bits as required today. That should make true streaming HD video available not just in broadband households, but on mobile and tablet devices, using networks that are a lot more bandwidth-constrained. Doing so could make online video more widely available in markets with poor connectivity or mostly mobile connections.

Yeah....
My arguement for the last 3 years withthe Monk. Technology and improvements in compression will make clever use ofthe available bandwidth. Huge pipes to every house is a waste of money.......

Ah... but wasting money seems to be a Labor Government trait.

That's because they believe in backing winners instead of the market forcing sorting out how and who the winners will be.
There is always a differnt solution to the problem. I don't think Labor understand the problem they are trying to solve.

I don't see them backing many winners (if any).
