Al Jazeera is indirectly owned by the Emir of Qatar, rather like how the ABC is indirectly owned by the Australian Government. I assume you believe that the ABC interferes in Australian politics every time it exposes an Australian politician as a double-dealing, backstabbing hypocrit? You'd like Joh Bjelke-Petersen to still have continued controlling Queensland? How about Neville Wran? How about all the other politicians exposed? You're whinging 'cause your favourite party was exposed a bunch of incompetent fools.

This will ultimately have little effect on the Australian Election as a whole. The PHONies only command about 10%, if that, of the vote. They may get two seats in the Senate and perhaps one seat in the HoR, if they are extremely lucky. Their diehard electors will still vote for them, no matter how much their incompetencies are revealed.
