The RBA is full of economists.
Ask SN what the Tories drive for a surplus did. Hint—Budget deficit is now twice what it was when they started their austerity.

Reserve Bank governor Glenn Stevens, who this month issued a dramatic pre-election call on the government to restore the budget to surplus as soon as possible to help rebuild economic confidence.

that is not true.
the uk economy now is showing signs of growth
reigning in gov spending was a risk and the gain is starting only as a result of addressing labors spending spree. Therefore the tory priority to address deficit is working.
