There's hardly any space left between the coast of Sydney and the area where the blue mountains begin. It is being totally built out.
But don't ever ask about maybe stopping immigration. It's the essence of our national identity. Without it we'd um.. well, be racist, and stuff.

Katoomba is almost an outer suburb of Sydney now, which as I think is why all the upgrades and heavy roadworks the past few years.Imperium wrote:There's hardly any space left between the coast of Sydney and the area where the blue mountains begin. It is being totally built out.

30 yrs ago the was pretty much nothing at Emu Plains and Quakers Hill, now it looks like Strathfield.
However, there is still a heap of open ground big enough for an airport but because the population was there first it would be very difficult to put one in, it really needs to be a very low populated area.
But then when you look at how things are done, there was no one near the Lucas Hts Atomic energy facility, then the council allowed housing developement to go ahead and now everyone living near the facility is screaming about it.
