As I said, they didn't report the story, they created it and Peter Greste agrees.

"What concerns me is crossing the line into actually creating a story and not simply reporting it."

They weren't filmed asking for money to weaken our gun laws nor were they filmed doing anything illegal. Al Jezeera producer (and former ABC producer) Peter Charley set up this sting nearly 4 years ago. He hired lawyers in 3 countries to help him set up a fake gun pro gun lobby group here in Australia.

He then hired some fake guy, Roger Muller, to head it plus another woman was paid to run the fake website. Muller pretended to be a gun enthusiast who gave interviews, made film clips to promote guns and called for weaker gun laws. So Qatar has been running a fake lobby group in Australia trying to weaken our gun laws and paying at least 2 people for more than 3 years to keep up the charade.

Al Jezeera/Qatar flew this fake Muller to London to teach him how to phrase question and how to conduct himself as an undercover journalist. He was taught to use tiny cameras and then they took him to the US to put him through gun safety courses to try to make him seem legitimate. How much money have they invested in this? :WTF

The whole thing STINKS! While the rabid lefties are running around wetting themselves thinking they got a hit on Pauline they are too stupid to consider the ramifications of Qatar (or other countries) meddling in our politics. The retardation of the left never ceases to amaze me.

Anyway, listen to the Andrew Bolt Facebook clip I posted a couple of posts back.

BTW One Nation don't want to weaken our gun laws but the Shooters and Fishers Party do (promoted by the ALP). It was thanks to ALP preferences that the Shooters Party did so well in NSW last week. The hypocrisy of the left never ceases to amaze me either.

The reporter that set it up, claims it was not set up to lure in Pauline's party, he was after a story on the NRA 's political funding. Pauline's crowd just happened to stumble into the net, just good ole fashioned bad luck

Makes sense if he set it up in the US but he set the fake lobby group up in Australia.

INCORRECT They approached One Nation

Approaching One Nation
The film's connection to One Nation only began in 2018, after I read an article in a Queensland newspaper claiming that Australia's One Nation party had received funding from an NRA-affiliated organisation within Australia.

The article led me to wonder whether any direct connection existed between One Nation and the NRA, so I asked Mr Muller to visit the party to find out.

Mr Muller approached One Nation leader Pauline Hanson's chief of staff, James Ashby, and mentioned the "friends" he had developed within the National Rifle Association.

Instead of confirming a connection of his own, Mr Ashby asked to meet Mr Muller's contacts — people, he later said that he hoped might provide millions of dollars of funding to the political party.

He needed to bait the hook, which he did. The whole operation would have cost a couple of hundred thousand, at most. As for it being an "interference in Australian politics," yeah, sure, and what has the NRA being doing for the last 25 years, Black Orchid? They were interfering _before_ Port Arthur. After Port Arthur they went into overdrive, funding various gun groups. The PHONies took the bait, that's all. They were prepared to offer, as the video shows, weakening of Australia's gun laws in return for money which would gain for them control of the Senate. Funny how prepared they were to sell Australia for thirty pieces of silver...

Its not incorrect Red. They may very well have contacted One Nation, Their names may have come up during his scam, But the scam was not set up for the purpose of snaring One Nation, They were a side catch

We’re journalists doing a job,” Charley told Reuters by telephone. “The original intention was to infiltrate the NRA. It was only quite late in the game that One Nation came into the frame.”
