ahahahaha great post! Summarises and amplifies what I have been trying to hammer into some very thick skulls:

2GB (Ben Fordham Show) now running white hot with Slater & Gordon stuff.

All pretence at “questions to answer” has been dropped. Word’s like “she lied” being chucked about by Fordham ike confetti.

Callers phoning in saying “This is the biggest story in history”, “We’ll get her for what she did to Australia”, even one saying it was unethical for lawyers to do work for a sweetheart or family member.

Opinions of Blewitt range from “He’s a decent Aussie. He ate Chinese food with a fork,” (!), to “Clearly a good, honest man who was framed by that b–ch Gillard”. The worst Fordham will say is that “Blewitt’s no angel, but he’s doing the right thing and making amends.”

I guess that’s how you make amends: refuse to talk to police until you have a guarantee of immunity, so you won’t be punished for anything you did that you’re supposed to be making amends for.

Fordham made much of Blewitt’s refusal to answer certain questions, saying these were obviously in the area where Gillard has done illegal things, and an upright bloke like Blewitt wants to dot i’s and cross t’s.

So now, “No comment” or “I don’t know anything about that” is taken as “Yes, she was in it up to her lying neck.”

Generally, the 2GB crowd think they are on a winner. One even talked about Abbott being Prime Minister by Christmas. The excitement is palpable, you can cut it with a knike. Caller after caller is phoning up, virtually cheering the end of Gillard. They are practically high-fiving each other that finally Gillard will go down screaming, to a place where she belongs: hell (as one put it).

The European Environment Agency has today warned that climate change is impacting all regions in Europe, with the past decade being the warmest on record.

In its report, Climate Change, Impacts and Vulnerability in Europe 2012, the European Environment Agency found that the last decade (2002-2011) has been the warmest on record in Europe, with land temperatures 1.3°C warmer than the pre-industrial average.
