Since the Greens have been dropping in all other recent polls those two points they gained are more likely to be really two points to Labor.

Not only that Gillards figures improved quite a bit. details soon. Somehow I think PM Gillard will be PM up to and after the 2013 election. Gillard is ahead of poor old Tone on PPM.
she has shot to a 48-46 lead over Tony Abbott as preferred prime minister after trailing 46-42

The only change of Leadership worth talking about is who will take over from Abbott.

Don't wet yourself in your excitement, Monk. It is about as significant as me deciding to go shopping today or tomorrow. Means eff all.

WOW! Why do you take notice of this absolute crap? Your "team" is a couple of points ahead in the first quarter? (AFL) It means they will win the game? Dream on.

:rofl :rofl :rofl Is that all you have?

No. There has been a consistent move back to Labor over the last six months.

The lower class is bored. The MSM is bored. I am bored. Why aren't you bored? Labor is GONE at the next Federal Election, no matter how you want to spin it.

The Labor Party has had its day. Regardless of who is running as Leader of the Opposition, that person will be the next Prime Minister.

I can't see that they will change from Tony Abbott .... but who knows? No, I definitely would not vote for Turnbull ... EVER!

Gillard, at 18 months into her first term, has higher approvals than Howard and Keating did at that stage in their first governments. If the election was tomorrow sure Labor would suffer a swing and lose government but the election is late next year, not tomorrow. Slow, steady improvement is all it would take.

Abbot is only there because he is ahead. He now is only just ahead for the current stage in the electoral cycle and I would say the hard heads in the Liberal Party are beginning to think of changing Leader.

I remind you Abbott has not done any policy development to speak off and they have a $70Bn black hole—that will get a good run in any election campaign.

Yawn! Regardless of how the GALP stuff up everything, you will ALWAYS vote for The Party . Were your parents Communists? Is that why they had to flee to Australia?

So? Abbott is the Leader of the Opposition ........ do you understand what that means, exactly?

Please, there is no such thing as the “GALP” and I am not a child. Can you rephrase your post please?

I will point out:

1. Tone couldn’t win the election despite a dreadful campaign, the leaks etc

2. He could not negotiate with the Indies to form govt.

3. His only claim to fame is to be ahead in the polls, and his lead is ebbing away.

OK ALP ... were your parents non-communists? Or are you Jewish?

Whatever .... you should be pleased that some people "engage"with you on Forums such as this. I am sure that I would not bother talking to anyone I have "met" on here in my private life.

I predict that there will be rumblings in Liberal ranks about Tone’s performance and the need to switch to another LOTO.
