Two men will face court today following extensive investigations by specialist police into the supply of illegal firearms and prohibited drugs in south-west Sydney.
In September of 2018, police from Wetherill Park Region Enforcement Squad (RES) commenced an investigation into the illicit supply of firearms and drugs throughout the south-western Sydney area.
As part of their inquiries, Wetherill Park RES stopped a vehicle at Greenacre just before 8pm on Tuesday 19 February 2019 and spoke to the two male occupants – aged 27 and 29 – before searching the car and seizing more than $4200 cash.
A short time later, police executed a search warrant at a home at South Hurstville, where they seized a sawn-off double barrel shotgun and more than $150,000 cash.
The following day (Wednesday 20 February 2019), Wetherill Park RES, assisted by Bass Hill RES, executed search warrants at homes at Bankstown, Bass Hill, and Condell Park.
During the searches, investigators seized more than 10kg of cocaine, 5kg of MDMA, six firearms, ammunition, firearm accessories, an electronic control device, prescription medication, cannabis, and more than $310,000 cash.
Officers also seized two vehicles – a BMW and a Honda Jazz – which were later subject to a forensic search, with police locating cocaine, $6750 cash, two loaded pistols, and a replica pistol hidden in secret compartments.
On Thursday 21 February 2019, a further search warrant was executed at a home unit at Bankstown, where they seized 3.5kg of methylamphetamine (ice), 1kg of cocaine, a loaded 9mm semi-automatic pistol, ammunition, and almost $125,000 cash.
In total, investigators seized 11 firearms, more than 600 rounds of ammunition, more than $600,000 cash, and prohibited drugs with an estimated potential street value of about $14 million.

https://au.news.yahoo.com/mans-terrifyi ... 15526.htmlA Sydney man called triple-0 and said "I killed my wife" before later pleading not guilty to murder.
The NSW Supreme Court on Wednesday heard the call Shahab Ahmed made to triple zero about 10 minutes after stabbing Khondkar Fariha Elahi to death in their Parramatta unit in February 2017.
In it, the operator answers, confirms his address and then asks "what happened?"
"I killed my wife," he said.
Asked if his wife of five years - lying on a blood-soaked mattress in the couple's bedroom - needed an ambulance, Ahmed said no.

The new defence against murder
I'm sorry judge, I'm a muzzo, it's in my nature to murder.

I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

https://westernweekender.com.au/2019/05 ... park-home/Police are investigating after shots were fired into a house in Glenmore Park this morning.
About 12.15am, police were called to Dara Crescent, Glenmore Park, following reports shots had been fired into a home.
Officers from Nepean Police Area Command attended and have established a crime scene.
The occupants of the home were uninjured.
While inquiries continue, initial investigations suggest the shooting may be targeted.

https://7news.com.au/news/crime/daycare ... s-c-102586It's been revealed the director of a fake family day care business operating in NSW and accused of stealing taxpayer-funded subsidies from the government was allegedly making $30,000 a fortnight.
Police have dismantled an alleged criminal syndicate that stole millions of dollars from the Commonwealth Child Care Subsidy Scheme, after conducting more than 20 search warrants and arresting 18 people across Sydney on Wednesday.
There are now concerns the rorting of the scheme could be far more widespread than first thought.
In February 2018, detectives from the Financial Crimes Squad and Organised Crime Squad, along with the Australian Government Department of Education and Training and the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC), established Strike Force Mercury to investigate the coordinated fraudulent activities targeting family day care operations.
The strike force has also been assisted by the NSW Department of Education and NSW Crime Commission.
Police will allege the fake family daycare business defrauded taxpayers of about at least $3.8 million in Commonwealth payments under the Child Care Subsidy scheme.

we are getting as bad here now bo....so far it looks like bikie wars and they are all over the town..
wont be long before its shoot outs on the streets...the govt we have turns a blind eye...
The seizure of five kilograms of cocaine from a home in Theodore is the largest seizure of the drug in Canberra's history, according to ACT police.
Key points:
Shaun Claude Small, 28, is charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of prohibited drugs
Police say the cocaine was destined for outer-lying suburbs in the ACT
Officers have not ruled out more raids or arrests
Officers raided the home in Canberra's south yesterday, acting on tip-offs from the public.
They allegedly found the five bricks inside the house, wrapped in black plastic, and preliminary tests of the substance found it to be cocaine.
Police estimated the 5kg amount held a street value of $1.5 million.
Theodore man Shaun Claude Small, 28, was subsequently arrested, and charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of prohibited drugs.
He appeared in the ACT Magistrates Court this morning, where he pleaded not guilty to the charge and did not apply for bail.
Detective Superintendent Scott Moller said there was more police work to do in establishing where the drugs came from and where it was heading.
"The investigation is only in the initial stages, we've located this five kilograms," he said.
the police say there are no links to bikie gangs...... even though the drugs were destined for all over the ACT...
maybe McDonald outlets...

Apparently it's only the tip of the iceberg and I agree the money goes overseas to fill the coffers of those who want to kill us
