I am not talking about you Monk, I am talking about Lefty's inability to understand borrowing has a cost. It may be a justifiable cost, (I did so to buy a house), but there is a cost, even for nations.Jovial Monk wrote:Oh stop drama queening, you are worse than Mantra sometimes!

Where the FUCK do I say, imply or hint that your post was about me?
My post was all about your constant dramaqueening. I had an employee did that a lot, drove me nuts so i am presensitised to it. Besides you are the wrong sex to be a queen.

Re: Good news on economic front
Did it ever occur to you Lefty and Monk that you could be wrong. You jump at this so called "good news on the economic front" yet in reality it is only a few multinationals who are recording fairly substantial profits - small business is going down the gurglar and people who once were classified as middle class are homeless and sleeping in their cars.
We are not turning a corner because there is too much fear in the market and it is having a very serious domino effect on our entire economy - little of which we see in the media. A couple of months of good exports doesn't even make a dint in our balance of trade. Ross Greenwood (economist) was talking the other day about our debt per person this time next year. If we take into consideration personal and government debt it will exceed that of the US.
You two don't get it. It's OK to make fun of those who dare contradict your one eyed belief in Rudd's management, and he is probably doing his best, but he has made some mistakes of enormous magnitude.
Regardless of whether this future debt is a result of reduced revenue - it's still there and escalating and just adds to the overspending this government has recently incurred.

Good to see that humour is still alive and well hereyou are the wrong sex to be a queen

Arguing gets so dry sometimes. I think I might do like Frogen and get a drink.
I remember when HS first put me onto the KRS forum. I pissed myself laughing for weeks at the snide, smart-arse commentary, mudslinging and sledging accompanying a still serious political debate. I have often thought that if parliament were conducted in such an entertaining fashion, everyone would take a bigger interest in politics.
Actually, I think Keating might have been a pioneer in that arena
