New Galaxy poll out in Qld, 51:49 to LNP instead of 50:50--other questions asked & tabulated will be released tomorrow.
While Anna would have liked the swing the other way, the small sample size (800) of both polls means basically the change is just statistical noise.

A Newspoll has been conducted over the past two weeks by Newspoll. It too comes out at 51:49KNP.
Sample size was 850 so a MoE of 3.5% but really larger than that because Qld is much more diverse than other states and much faster growing.
A reduced majority to Labor is all that is guaranteed by the 51:49 and I predict a more comfortable majority after the actual election (10-12 seats.) The more the Borg and McArdle speak the more people they turn off.

The Borg has been going round promising everything to everybody, promises often self contradictory.
To fund the huge mishmash (as if he has any interntion of keeping them) he is going to impose a 2.7% efficiency dividend across the Qld PS. Complete crap of course, and Prof Wanna has shown it to be so in detail.

And another 51:49 Galaxy poll meaning the Borg will be Oppn leader still. Large number of undecideds, a lot of which will go with the "better the devil you know. . ." and will mean Labor will have a much smaller but workable majority.

And a bit late but still to script the LNP shoots itself in the foot: 3 out of 4 Gold Coast candidates said they want the AFL stadium that the stupid Borg opposed. Lots of jobs, increase in tourism and a stadium that will pay for itself in the medium term but no, can't have it.
Illustrates perfectly the metro-rural, progressive-conservative split the Pineapple Party (and the Fib Party nationally) suffer from. A Fib-Nuts union would be deadly for the non-Labor side of politics.

The latest galaxy poll says the same that all the polls have 52/48 LNP, but thats not enough to win gov, Ive just been playing around on Antony Greens calculator and 52/48 would still give Labor a 5 seat majority and thats a state wide swing of 7%, I dont think it will happen.
Have a play-

Very hard to predict-Optional Preferential Voting (OPV) means some people just vote 1 for the party and that is it, so a LOT less preferences than in national elections. However, Labor have preference deals with the greens in 14 important seats and this will help.
Some greens seem to be disgruntled and talking of voting 1 LNP and if they do and it makes a difference I hope they like what they get: uranium mining, fishing zones removed and other environmental disasters. And disastrously incompetent economic management. Cut teacher numbers AND decrease class sizes, HOW? Encourage the kids to play hooky? They will destroy the state in three short years!
I do not like the Greens, never have. If I am listening to Parlt and that Milne woman comes on I switch the radio off. Bob Brown pisses me off a lot too but not nearly as bad as Milne. Sen Siewert seems a good polly and so is Lucas(sp)
Ummm the polls have been 51:49 for LNP

Springborg will be Qld Premier next Monday! A glorious future opens up for our great state! What a bunch of socialists here! You watch! SA and NSW will fall next! Maybe not Vic but Tassie will and the NT in a couple years time.
Then we rid the country of glass jaw Kevin and that redheaded bitch!
