Wasn't impressed with her views on removing all children with autism from mainstream schools and stuffing then in a spastic bus either.

Children with disabilities do not belong in mainstream classrooms.

My youngest is autistic. He functions very well in a classroom. You are attempting to describe all disabled kids on the basis that they are all poorly functioning/disruptive. Most aren't. My youngest did so well that he won a school prize for history in Year 12. Some are and they perhaps need extra care and attention. However, to deny them the experience of learning simply because you have a problem with them is IMHO simply not on. It is your problem. You deal with it.

There are many kinds of handicaps or disabilities... not all will fit well if at all in the regular public school system.

Depends on a number of factors as to whether public is good or private is better.

We moved into this particular school zone for the purpose of her being able to attend this school.

I've heard both negative and positive stories from both public and private.

Pauline may say many silly or just inarticulate things , like the anti-vax/test comment a while back... but she corrected herself and apologised for it.

She was blasted for wearing a Burqua in parliament but for all bar the haters she made a valid point. Pity that idiot Brandis didn't have a clue about Islam when he opened his enormous trap. Hanson 1 Brandis 0 No wonder they got rid of him.

Hanson and her party have made many sensible suggestions some adopted at state and federal level and only the idiots and haters refuse to acknowledge them.
