Interesting how the main posters who associated the Green mantra with Naziism are all supporters of the Greens- ill give an exception to Sexy Lady as she may or may not be a Greens supporter, but it was more than evident from her initial and instinctual linking to Naziism coupled with accusations of "lame" and inability to prove said "lameness" other than to call it "lame"

For a difference to be told, first you need a comparison. The only comparison introduced was between two ideologies that obviously share a common theme and confirmed by those who voluntarily and without prompting, took the path of conflation.

That says exactly the opposite of being able to "tell the difference"

Not quite IQ. Sexy lady voluntarily and without prompting saw right through you. The fact that everyone else is a few steps ahead of you should not be interpreted as some kind of validation.

I mearly asked if they could guess where a quote that seem to encompass Green doctrine down to a tee originated without googling and lo and behold, Godwin was invoked in the second post.

Perhaps you should be more self aware about what your doctrine actually entails.

Picture the scene.  At the edge of a forest, German soldiers point their guns at rows of naked people who follow the Jewish religion.  Among them are young mothers clutching their babies.  The shots echo through the woods and the dead bodies fall into the ground.  Down the road, while this is happening, their German army comrades are busy establishing nature walks and bird sanctuaries and planting trees.  The Nazis conducted horrific experiments on children (I have seen footage so upsetting it can’t be shown on TV) but at the same time they banned medical experiments on animals.  The same Nazi monsters who committed crimes of unimaginable barbarity also advocated vegetarianism, organic agriculture, forest preservation and homeopathic healthcare.  How can we possibly explain this?  What was the connection between the inhuman brutality of the Nazis and their gushing idealization of ‘Nature’?

But environmentalist ideology was not an accidental, optional-extra to National Socialism.  As we shall see, green ideas were at the core of Nazi thinking.  The German Volk and Nazi movements marched beneath the banners of ‘Nature’ and the ‘organic’.

Your opening post quoted the Green wing of the Nazi party. If you think about it, you will realise eventually that Godwin was invoked in the first post. Or does it not count if you try to be sneaky about it?

Yes you did. You are doing it again right now, just as everyone said you would.

It is quite simple really. You stumbled across a quote on the internet that you thought could trick people into confusing the greens and the nazis. It did not work and everyone saw straight through your attempt. Despite clearly not fooling anyone, you start insisting that you fooled everyone. Eventually you fall back on arguing that your own inability to tell the difference between the nazis and the greens proves that no-one else can either.

I posited a quote with no references and others, including yourself inferenced a Nazi origin as well as a Green component.

But you should be able to tell me where the Greens and the Nazis disagree on the opening statement then if all I was trying to do was sneakily conflate the two.
