Re: Reasons not to vote LABOR.
give it up... Jon Faine is so Left leaning (in the bad way) that he's lying on his LH side.
Any way most sane people are relying on the sanity of their fellow Australians to vote out our worst government and PM ever. (Give or take one - Rudd's) Not this side issue. Even though the party may toss her overboard eventually due to it.

Murray Darling Basin plan will be through Parliament next week. Four states agreed. Historic reform with another 450ML down the line as infrastructure gets updated.
Pretty good reason to look at voting Labor.
Meanwhile, Campbell Newman, chest puffed out struts like a demented dwarf and is going to allow Queenslands rivers to be polluted:

Good reason to look anywhere BUT the Liberals.“@corinne_grant: Abbott just called Gillard’s misogyny speech playing the ‘victim card’. Well said, Tonewado! Women who stand up to sexism are pathetic!”

Re: Reasons not to vote LABOR.
please post your anti Liberal crap in the anti liberal topic...
if you are confused get an adult explain it to you moron.
meanwhile... only a rusted on moron would accept what Gillard said in that speech as accurate in any way.
Sad but true that some people are so gullible or so ignorant or so biased or all of the above they even try to spout the negativism and propaganda as the truth.
As for the Murray Darling deal... until Labor divorce themselves from the Greens they will never come up with a sensible policy that is good for Australia.

NSW Labor allegations are horrific but won't impact federal party: Tony Burke

CABINET minister Tony Burke has described allegations about state members of the NSW Labor Party as "horrific" and "extraordinarily serious" but says none of the issues extend to the federal party. Now that's a guy in denial.
Mr Burke, a senior member of Labor's powerful NSW Right faction, said he was confident the Independent Commission Against Corruption inquiry into former NSW government ministers Eddie Obeid and Ian Macdonald would not hurt Labor's chances at the next election and that voters could discern between the party on a state and federal level. Yet the same culture exists in all of Labor as that in NSW...
“The allegations are horrific, they are extraordinarily serious and you don't find anyone less affronted by those allegations than people in (the NSW Right faction),” Mr Burke told the National Press Club.
“I am a taxpayer in NSW too and I am horrified by what I am seeing. It's got a legal process to go through but on the face of what you are seeing being reported and what is being said in that room, it is the opposite of everything we believe in.
“And to see that happening, even just to see it being alleged, is horrific.”
ICAC is investigating former state Labor minister Ian Macdonald's decision in 2008 to issue coal exploration licences over the Bylong Valley in NSW and how this benefited another former minister and former Labor powerbroker Eddie Obeid.
ICAC alleges Mr Macdonald's decision handed “massive cascading profits” of $100 million to Mr Obeid and his associates.
Former prime minister Kevin Rudd said on Monday Mr Obeid was a problem for the Labor Party as a whole and “should be dealt with”.
But Mr Burke today said he could not see a federal connection. There are none so blind Tony Burke.
“I've got to say I just can't for the life of me see a federal connection and in terms of the NSW people they have always shown a propensity to have very different views, both state and federal, and I would be stunned to see it happen now,” he said.

Oh dear BIPARTISAN support... so much for Dr No and all those other Labor lies eh.The Greens say it's not enough. They will try and disallow the bill. But with the Opposition on board it's a plan that's here to stay.

Have a read of this mishmash of a presser by a confused Premier:

Another good reason to avoid the LNP like the plague!

As we are finding out, the Pacific Solution didn’t work.
Now the Secretary of the Immigration Dept says he warned a return to the Pacific Solution would not work. Oops, there goes part of Howards Legacy!
Seems only the Malaysian based Regional Processing centre will work. Funny about that:
