Rorschach,

If your arguement is that what we are seeing is consistent with the historical trends of warming and cooling you don't understand what drives the historic cycles.

Some experts point out that natural cycles in Earth's orbit can alter the planet's exposure to sunlight, which may explain the current trend. Earth has indeed experienced warming and cooling cycles roughly every hundred thousand years due to these orbital shifts, but such changes have occurred over the span of several centuries. Today's changes have taken place over the past hundred years or less.

Because
some 2,500 scientists in more than 130 countries, concluded that humans have caused all or most of the current planetary warming. Human-caused global warming is often called anthropogenic climate change.

Why
• Industrialization, deforestation, and pollution have greatly increased atmospheric concentrations of water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide, all greenhouse gases that help trap heat near Earth's surface. (See an interactive feature on how global warming works.)

• Humans are pouring carbon dioxide into the atmosphere much faster than plants and oceans can absorb it.

• These gases persist in the atmosphere for years, meaning that even if such emissions were eliminated today, it would not immediately stop global warming.

Sorry but most of the people you label deniers etc agree that there has been warming SN. So how many of those 2500 are skeptics too? Or have they been left out of your supposed count?

I gather you keep ignoring what we've been posting so I guess I could be forgiven for ignoring what you post. If/when I can be bothered I'll rebut yet again your claims.

I have read your posts.

What with don't agree with is that the warming is manmade and if we don't take action we will be in deep shit. Is this correct as a summary?

IQS invariably brings back one point you and boxy keep ignoring. Why?

Here is just one point refuting your "why" from the last big post which is incorrect...

In the Earth's past CO2 levels have been higher than today... yet they weren't anthropogenic were they?
The Earth seems to have coped and survived don't you think?

Oh and the 2500 claim by the IPCC is a fraud. You can google that.

Ok, let's address one point at a time.

The Earth will cope and the Earth will survive.

Human life on Earth may not cope and may not survive. That is the point......

The rate of change in the climate in the late 20th century is unprecedented in geological timescales.

I defy any one of you to write....in no more than 400 words....an overall appreciation/critique of what has been posted in this Thread.
