''ASIO assesses he is associated with individuals involved in organising and facilitating irregular maritime ventures to Australia,'' the letter says.

It goes on to claim, ''he is likely to continue involvement in people smuggling activities in Australia should he be granted a permanent visa''.

The man has not been charged with criminal offences and, despite ASIO alleging he gave misleading information in his refugee claim, he was formally recognised to have a well-founded fear of persecution.

I'm not enamoured with the fact that Australia's population is increasing so quickly with people from so many nations - but we are a young country and although ecologically we don't need more people - there are millions who want to come here and open it up.

Some even view the boat people as just the sort of citizens we need. They have struggled to get here and most of them would be workers, given the chance. It is not so much the boat people that governments care about - it is their children. They can be molded into the next generation of Australians.

The big boys at the top of the global order have pre-ordained that our population is to reach 50 million and there's nothing we can do about it.

Howard might have stopped the boats - but he didn't stop the planes. Now a Lib premier has sold off a major port to the Arabs. That should make it even easier for the "terrorists" to get here.

Even if I did believe that and your lying when you say it, tsk tsk tsk, that wouldn't make me a conspiranut. As for Fraser darling of the LEFT... I've often blamed him for multiculti and the Lebanese problem. But it is much bigger than just Lebanese today and the ALP and the Greens (who want open borders and you support) are a much bigger problem than the Coalition.

However it is not the same problem as Illegal Boat People who use Criminals and Criminal means to gain entry to our country. To get here by air you need proper documentation. You can't throw it away and get entry.
