Oh dear, roach must have got a whiff of DDT or something, he hasn’t been this animated ever, I think.Rorschach wrote:Oh and shitforbrains.... don't libel me you have no idea what I think.
I think the people like you who said we have already reached peak oil are wrong.
The US reserves and new fields prove that.
I think we will find new technologies to fuel the future.
So shove that up your clacker, you demented old soak.
Peal oil is probably passed. While new fields get discovered they don’t last long before they are exhausted, they are not anywhere near as big as the ME oil fields. On top of that a growing middleclass in Brazil, India and China want to own cars and drive so the consumption of petrol is going through the roof.
So a good idea to promote renewable energy, public transport, the NBN (telecommuting/telepresence) solar/wind/tidal etc.
Re: Global Warming
Well, searched JoNova on ocean floor and then petrol but nothing came up.
But it was there and the links I followed did not say what she said they say. Most of the deniers on her site would not be able to read the scientific papers she linked.
If you really want to find it why not contact Jo?

1/ memory problems
2/ No idea what anyone said
3/ no understanding of what was actually said and what it means.
make that ALL of the above.
BTW it is totally irrelevant.
Perhaps you posted their as maxine, in which case the blog where the comments occur state you were the one who brought it up in the first place.
BTW Monk, where do you think oil comes from?
Why do you think there are floating drill rigs?
Where did the oil under the Earth's waters come from originally?
Come on biology boy even a Primary school science student can answer those.
