Global warming stopped 16 years ago, reveals Met Office report quietly released... and here is the chart to prove it

* The figures reveal that from the beginning of 1997 until August 2012 there was no discernible rise in aggregate global temperatures
* This means that the ‘pause’ in global warming has now lasted for about the same time as the previous period when temperatures rose, 1980 to 1996

It's all in the scale... So small you wouldn't physically be able to tell the difference.

As I've said multiple times already in this thread. There have been multiple short term ups and downs in the mean temperature, but the ups heavily outweigh the downs. Unless you can show a cooling that takes the temperature down to previous levels, it is just a continuation of the trend upwards.

You can see short (yes, 5, 10, 15 years) downward periods in the graph, but the long term trend remains blindingly obvious.



That's why the great majority of Roach's stats are short term (5, 10, 15 years). They want you to focus on the here and now.... don't worry about the future... it's someone else's problem.

They are on a mission, a mission from god... their god. The holey dollar.
