Gillard has tried to make a spurious link between Bishop and One Nation on the grounds that the man who typed one former union boss’s affidavit once worked for Pauline Hanson.

THE Opposition has claimed Prime Minister Julia Gillard misled a Corporate Affairs Commission after the emergence of new sections of a transcript of her exit interview from Slater and Gordon.

Tony Abbott claimed the revelation from the interview that Ms Gillard wrote to the WA Commissioner for Corporate Affairs in 1992 arguing against the authority's view an AWU Association set up by her then boyfriend Bruce Wilson and former union bagman Ralph Blewitt was ineligible for incorporation was unethical and illegal.

Ms Gillard told Slater and Gordon the AWU association was a "slush fund.''

She now says "slush fund'' was an inaccurate term and her spokesman says she has "no recollection of receiving or sending the claimed correspondence in this matter".
