Mantra, they pretend not to know because it suits them.

lol..
Haha. That can apply to some women of course, but even if Gillard turned a blind eye all those years ago, should she be punished for that today? People change as they mature.

What about Abbott's morals? He thought he had an illegitimate child, yet did nothing for all those years about following it up. He wouldn't do the same now, but most people grow up eventually.

Where is the evidence he had or even thought he had an illegitimating child Mantra?

:roll You are grasping at desperate straws there Mantra...lol

Though it's a confirmed FACT Gillard cavorted with known con-artists and fraudsters this and slept with married men whilst she cat-scratched her way to the top job.

Again, like forces attract Mantra.

Theres no denying this fact.

You may not remember this interview.
Kerry O'Brien: welcome to the program. First tonight, the latest incredible twist in what was already one of the most fascinating political stories for a long time, certainly of a personal kind. Just one month ago, it was revealed that Health Minister Tony Abbott had been reunited with the son he and his then-girlfriend had given up for adoption 27 years ago. In a further twist, the son was revealed as Daniel O'Connor, who had been working in Parliament House as an ABC sound recordist. And tonight we learn that DNA tests have confirmed Tony Abbott is not Daniel's father. Here's how the story first unfolded.

KATHY DONNELLY: He said, "Hello, Daniel?" I said, "Hello, Daniel. It is Kathy." He said, "Oh, hello." I said, "Hello." Then we both started to laugh and we laughed and laughed and laughed. I always thought I would cry, but it was joy and relief - just huge relief.

DANIEL O'CONNOR: I was quite shocked, really. I was surprised more than anything that I worked in the same building as him and have met him on numerous occasions.

TONY ABBOT, HEALTH MINISTER: Well, I certainly was I suppose flabbergasted, but at the same time thought to myself, "Well, what do you know, hey? Truth is stranger than fiction."

KERRY O'BRIEN: Did you have moments where you thought very basic things like, "Is he safe, is he still alive? Is he happy, is he in poverty, is he well looked after?"

TONY ABBOTT: What are his interests? Is he an intellectual, is he a sportsman? You know, I must confess I often fantasised about him being the kind of footballer that I'd always wished I would have been, but wasn't, of course.

KERRY O'BRIEN: As your only son.

TONY ABBOTT: That's right. I mean, it is a trap that we parents often fall into of living our lives through our kids and projecting our own sometimes unrealised hopes on to our kids. As I said, I sometimes fantasised about Daniel being the kind of footballer, or the kind of debater, or the kind of academic that I might have wanted at some stage of my life to be. He's turned out to be himself.

KERRY O'BRIEN: Himself, but not Tony Abbott's son.

Mantra, in politics there's always going to be bloodshed, but what makes or breaks the individual is how well they handle , manage the splatter when it occurs.

Ie, Gillard fails to manage her splatter, because she's inherently evasive and dislikeable, this and wont face the music.

On the other hand, Abbott handles himself quite well in a media context.

He doesn't duck, weave and hide when the blood splatters the way our Gillard the gutless does.

I can't dispute this Mel. Honesty is always the best policy and this is where Gillard falls down. She can't communicate easily with the electorate. Howard had "Mr. Honesty" written all over him (not that we all believed him), but he was a true professional in the art of appearing honest - Gillard isn't.

Yes - Abbott was being honest in the interview, but it wasn't political.

Someone better tell him before mummy-in-law GG cracks it if this be the case.

And why?

Because our GG had her sights set on her daughter becoming Australia's first, First Lady... presidential style...and all the prestige that comes with it.

See, her becoming our first lady will make up for the fact that she was a slut and like Gillard, slept with a married man (Bill Shorten) only she fell pregnant to him so had to have a gun-shot wedding after a speedy divorce.

The labour party presents more like a soap opera drama cast, than a viable contender for actually running our country, doesn't it.

Oh the drama....oh the shame and scandal....oh what a f-ing disgrace.

Fact is, this party's leading cast has too much going on in their personal lives, both historically and presently to be bothered with taking care of the "bigger Issue" which is running the country.

:roll To be continued......
