I am pleasantly surprised, that Rudd has developed considerable skill in dealing with the media. In fact, quote deadly. I would say that Rudd can now lob the insults back with finesse.

Sales is a crap interviewer—an interviewee could drop broad hints of some interesting new development, Sales will just plough on through her printed list of “gotcha” questions. Red Kerry was heading a bit that way, but now he has had a change and a rest for a year on 4Corners might be 1000% better than Sales and Tuhlman who could read weather reports or something.
Sales is pretty good I reckon, but she had a bad night last night. She got off on the wrong foot. She introduced a question (the very first in the interview) which went along the lines of "If past behaviour is the best indicator of future behaviour......' and then foolishly denied, when Rudd made his response to the question, that she asked about the ALP's 'record." Well, to anyone who understands English, if my past behaviour is asked about, my record is being asked about.
It seems Roach takes exception to Rudd pointing that out to her.

Rudd is an arrogant twerp. How many times did he flick his hair in that interview? That man is a nutcase. Over and above his self importance. Leigh should have asserted her authority and stood up to the pale, pudgy little prick.
