Monk, I didn't read what slabs of stuff you cut and pasted! It's a turnoff when people do that. IF you have found an interesting article and think you could be the FIRST to find it, of course you should draw it to the attention of the rest of the Forum ... but with a para stating "Interesting blah blah Julia Gillard blah blah" and then post a link. WE will decided whether we want to read it or not. Posting slabs of newsprint is just taking up space and nobody reads it anyhow.Jovial Monk wrote:Plenty of my words in there too.
Notice you didn’t say your normal mantra “Abbott will be the next PM” so even you are seeing that the turnaround is well on the way—the clincher there is Phil Coorey—the hacks and grubs of the MSM reckon they mould public opinion but in reality they just reflect it, and Coorey shows the MSM ponderously reversing its anti–Labor stance.

My normal "mantra" is not that Tony Abbott will be the next PM. I will vote for my Liberal candidate regardless of what you say or post.
The seat Melbourne (in Melbourne) is a stronghold ALP seat and has been for donkey's yonks (read Forever). It used to be a very low class, very poor area. Lots of crooks, gangs etc. Liberals wouldn't even visit there.

The Greens were, apparently, acting like children about to grab the Blue Ribbon in an egg race and dropped the egg at the last minute. Tough luck. No prizes for second in Politics. This picture explains it.
