This Friday night before the election tomorrow -
an almost certain win for Labor.

Sportsbet

Labor 1.08

Coalition 9.30

For the first time in ever, I'm feeling passionate about closing the gap.

Good news about Cairns and far North Queenslands severe weather warnings today.
They can get a free bulk-billed tellihealrh medical certificate to avoid getting wet at the polls.

Let's share this info, complete with phone numbers. Because nonone should be forced out into the elements, especially as flu & covid season is upon us.

😆

Last night on the ABC news 24 -
They asked both Albo and Dutton what they would do if they lost and
both ignored the question and said what their election policies were.
They were both let off the hook by the host.

I admit that it was cheeky type of question but both
leaders should have said – or words to that effect that -
they would not answer it -
rather than pretend the question never existed -
it's just plain dishonesty and we see it for almost every question -
in question time in parliament too.

Albo and Dutton are both dishonest about answering questions.
I will vote for an Independent today.

How did we all go in vote compass?
I was a little sceptical given it was created by the ABC....

Don't bother, given its going to be such a close race, you're far better off making your own preferred major party count.

LNP or Slitherin

Make your choice Bobby

No - I did what I had to do.

I had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes in line – just got back.

Only 2 officers issuing ballot papers for about 200 people in line.
Some people started arguing in the line.

My eldest daughter lives in Ballarat and got in to vote straight away. I should have gone to hers :c

Hey, of course. I wasn't being serious Bobby, you vote how you please, both leading party's are a bit of a let-down, it's just ones a let-down and the others a disaster.

Perhaps it's time both of them stop treating Australians like mugs, the digital age is well and trully upon us, no excuses.
Near enough isn't good enough, and we expect them to earn their salaries.
The golden age of treating Australians like idiots is over, and if they don't figure it out after this, and stop thinking it's acceptable for politicians to lie, piss in our pockets, then perhaps they should pursue an alternative career path, like, perhaps ethically for a change?

Just a thought.

True Bobby, the sad thing is, if either of them were truly men of strong character, neither would have lied.

Tony Abbott wouldn't have, Howard wouldn't have lied so blatantly either I don't think, seems this pair have dug themselves a big hole, and it's going to cost both their party's dearly. Greens no better.

What's a nation without it's sense of self respect?

Scott Morrison was a snide bastard, but he was not a compulsive liar at least.

Seems Australia is losing so many things we actually valued so much about ourselves as a nation.
Matemanship, loyalty, honesty, down to earthiness, we once had a sense of humour, and sense of national pride.

Both lied, both should have been disqualified from the race.

I said it last election, time for an alternative party , not a Teal, but who? Definitely not a Green, they're only against nuclear because they will be dependent on other states to negotiate purchasing power ....not having enough land or already contaminated desert to build reactors on themselves, so renewable energy would be ok for Tas and Canberra's small areas .... they know that renewable energy tech like solar panels and batteries comes from China, and are happy to throw the rest of our country under a bus to get their Green utopian renewables cheaper from their beloved Communist China. Stuff Tasmania, it's not even that special, I'd rather see New Zealand, or Norway, Sweden or Canada than pay more to see much much less, basically what we already have in Victoria if you know where to look.

Let's divide Australia's states like America , yet still remain a commonwealth only not chained to the Royals tattered dystopian apron strings.

Stuff them too.

Time to be great, best of all, we really have everything we need to be autonomous, self sufficient, we just need to forge sensible alliances, for strategic "to us" purposes, and just rest of them look on with envy.

Australians have made one thing very clear this election, which is they want a trimmer public service and government with less burocracy and red tape.

Moneyed families will suffer, as they'll actually have to compete with genuinly bright kids for the top jobs previously handed to them from generations before themselves.

Brains. You're either born with them or not, and neither Dutton or Albanese are more than 110 IQs at best.

They didn't lie - they just ignored the question -
the same as they did in question time in parliament every time it sits -
they all do it.

Try doing that in the real world if the boss asks you a question at work.
You would be sacked very quickly.

They lied when they both took an oath to be honest and transparent with fellow Australians.

You don't have to open your mouth to lie, sometimes it's what you don't say that makes you just as dishonest.

None of them are true knights of the round table.

They are just sales people - like used car dealers or real estate agents.

Don't make excuses for them Bobby, they won't thank you for your hard won trust or loyalty in the long run.
