well.. she's never pretended to be the sharpest tool in the shed...

but she is a voice for the people who want it..

she's travelling all over australia to ask people what they think... how they are going.. how hard they are doing it..

while all the other fat sloths are sitting in cambarra or their home seats.... they couldnt give a **** about australia and Australians...

she's asking a lot of questions in parliament and putting a lot of pressure on the pollies...

I dont agree with everything she says..

but I also don't agree with everything the Liberals or Labor says either... probably 90% of the Labor/Greens policies should be in the bin...

Agreed.

Just feeling a little hurt by her statements concerning the following.
Antivax - As my baby granddaughter caught whooping cough when she was just 5 weeks old, August last year and her lungs have been damaged as a result of irresponsible parent's not imunising older children who unfortunately, pass it on to babies too young to be fully imunised.

Autistic children - No need to repeat myself here.

Domestic violence- No need to explain here either.

I had a great deal of respect for ON until this.
Perhaps I'll think it through some more and see if I come round.

Funny, that isn't how she portrays herself and her Band of Village Idiots, Mechie. They act, continually as being smarter than anybody else, no matter how much better educated they may be than her. Her Party's war against science, decency and civilised behavior is legendary.
but she is a voice for the people who want it..
And yet she ignores the people who she is persecuting with her tirades. Funny how only "her people" get a voice...
she's travelling all over australia to ask people what they think... how they are going.. how hard they are doing it..
So? What is the conclusion? Some people are doing it harder than others. We would like to be a nation of equals but in reality we never have been. All she is noting is that Australian society is changing, as it always has. Nothing is static.
while all the other fat sloths are sitting in cambarra or their home seats.... they couldnt give a **** about australia and Australians...
No, they give a bullshit about a different Australia, an Australia which represents the majority viewpoint. She represents the minority, the fringe. She represent those who remained frozen in aspic and who wondered where the rest of Australian society left them where they are standing. They are the ones, like you who seek to treat Indigenous Australians, Muslim Australians, Asian Australians, and so on, as an embarrassment because they are different to what she conceives as the "real Australians".
she's asking a lot of questions in parliament and putting a lot of pressure on the pollies...
Bullshit.
I dont agree with everything she says..
Funny, never seen you post anything critical of the PHONies, just stuff in praise. Funny that, hey?
but I also don't agree with everything the Liberals or Labor says either... probably 90% of the Labor/Greens policies should be in the bin...
So, you like being shafted by the Big End of town, do you, Mechie? Why?

Speaking of being shafted by the big end of town, I wonder if rusted on disillusioned Liberals will in fact put their money where their mouths are at the polls..... ie, vote for a fringe party,(One Nation) or just do as they and their parents have always and just vote Liberal Turncoat anyway, despite their histrionics regarding their preferred leader not leading their preferred party.

I guess there's a little swing in all of us, but when push comes to shove, I'll bet they'll vote exactly how they have for 40 odd years.

Note to selves. Purgatory isn't a substitute for Hell.

Could One Nation drive an economy and do they have the knowledge to budget?

If say ON won the election, who would be our treasurer?

We need to be realistic and honest with ourselves at least people.

If noone else.

It comes down to credentials, and who has them.

She's tricky, because you can't tell how much of what she says is actually her own.

She says things then retracts them so flippantly.
How much of what you say is actually your own? :hush

Happy to own my words, thoughts and opinions.

I don't hide behind socks and troll either.
Well you accuse Pauline of not owning what she says! It really doesn't make any sense what you say... :rofl :rofl

Perhaps one of your 'friends' can explain it !!

That's how she gets elected! Seeing you cringe is what her voters want!! Her voters can depend on you cringing if she gets voted in: that's why they vote her in... so you will cringe.

Should I go on?

Why would the nasty capital "L"iberal voter change sides when even your average Granny knows she gets ripped off every time she votes Liberal but still votes Liberal?

Because many liberals have become disillusioned with a socialist leading their Liberal party so are wondering what to vote for.

Malcolm would love them to vote for Shorten, as this was always the plan.
