None of them care what we want. That's painfully obvious. They only pretend to care, just enough, to stay in power as we have no really viable party alternatives ... yet. By the time the alternatives are really viable it will be too late. In certain parts of Australia it already is too late to turn back the clock.

Personally I don't care what consenting adults do in the privacy of their own homes, including homos, so long as they don't rub it in my face.
So when the Gay marriage topic came up years ago, I didn't care one way or the other.
But in recent times the queers have been rubbing their perverions in my face, and everyone elses too, with the likes of compulsory 'Safe Schools'
poofter propaganda.
Now they (the queers) aren't satisfied with allowing the community at large setting standards and are determined to force their perversity
on to us via elite imposition, which means the issue isn't really about being allowed to get married.
It's now quite apparent that SSM is just a stepping stone to legalising paedophilia.
Homos can already gain legal access to minors via adoption and a "marriage" will add standing to their adoption applications.

Child sex abuse on girls is usually perpetrated by a heterosexual family member, the father as often as not.
Although as much as feminazis deny it, 25% of paedophiles are female.
Child sex abuse on boys is almost always perpetrated by a homosexual male .. clergy, youth leaders, teachers ect.

Mark my words, if gay marriage becomes legal, homosexual paedophiles will adopt boys to tamper with.
And when caught will get the adopted minor to say it was consensual ... and the courts will go lighter on them.
And then they (the queers) will lobby to lower the age of consentual homosexual activity.

Not long after that homosexuality will be re-criminalised ... whether they're chemically castrated, hung or burnt at the stake is anyone's guess.

Ah, so I'm allowed back in now ... I gather someone in ASIO didn't like my comment that the gay marriage debacle will end like the French Revolution, because that implies insurrection ... either that of some of the brass at DSD are raging poo punchers

Anyway, back when Abbot was PM the a gay marriage promoter here stated polls give favourable for gay marriage, I stated the only way to prove that would be to hold a referendum on the issue.
Not long after that PM Tony announces a plebiscite on the question. Not as good as a referendum, but cheaper, so I figured the next best thing.
Tony got rolled by Malcolm, and Malcolm went to election with Tony's plebiscite promise.

The queers realising the public would show the pro gay marriage poll results claims/propaganda would be disproven, because even in Labor heartland Western Sydney gays are about as popular as a dirty butt plug (and are bashed, so move to Paddington and Newtown near the city), had no option but to force the issue onto the electorate against the public's best instincts.

Then came the ALP opposition and Senate obstructionism. Now Malcolm & Co intend on having a postal plebiscite, which the queers intend blocking via the High Court, because the High Court has already condemned Howard's Marriage Act (between a man and a woman).

According to an Australian article on Thursday, it seems my suggestion of a referendum was the best choice, because unlike an ordinary parliamentary bill the Senate can only reject a referendum option once, and then the HoR can submit it to the Governor General to be signed off on.

So now I'm opposing the plebiscite in favour of a referendum.
