Mad! They vacated the centre which Labor/Rudd promptly occupied and are fortifying and now are chosing more far right dickheads! Sure go chase the extreme-right vote, that should give you a good steady 25% of the vote!

They are dicing with death! Remember the preboomer generation dying and taking their high-coalition vote with them! Not much sign of younger generations (boomer, X or Y) switching to the Fibs.

Gross over-generalisation, given that polls on a 2PP basis will show at any time that the differential is never more than 2%

At least Nelson did not cry when he left as CERTAINLY Rudd will do.

If Rudd keeps this pace up he will be invited to comment at Oprah's book club.

It all depends on what you want to conserve.

Good point. Can we not conserve conservatism then? Actually, scratch that. Let's dry freeze conservatism and conserve it in a conservatory.

And then we can leave it to Labor Leftist longings to leave democratic civilization laboring to live.

ehhh......that would be labouring to live. There's a dramatic difference. Does Labor (spot the difference!) actually have a 'Left' these days? It's not my experience.
