Yes, I agree… too hot and humid… but us Southerners are used to short summers, long winters and 4 seasons in one.
But it’s a necessity to have air conditioners in Qld.
I wouldn’t go further north than Bundaberg … then it’s very humid it bites the skin!

In summer - I've been in Brisbane, Mackay, and Proserpine/ Airlie beach.

It was too hot for me.
Winter would be nice as Melbourne is far too cold in Winter.

And here’s another pure money grab from our fkwittery broke Victorian government.
Empty house tax.
On top of land tax.
Just because they can’t manage money… making our state bankrupt….and many people have a holiday house, or a house from an elderly parent gone into care, or a house left to a beneficiary who can’t afforded to fix it to be rentable, or it can’t sell because of condition or in an isolated area where there’s no work etc
Lots of reasons…. yet the money hungry grabbing government have devised an extra evil tax … and mind you… no matter what extra money they get… will only be mismanaged and will not fix the state debt at all.

Wow…. Hard working tax paying people that have earned a little holiday shack can’t win.
