Typical ALP bullshit.
The only party in Oz to have ever instituted death taxes is Labor.
Most states had them till Joh Bjelkie Peanutfarmer abolished it, and the other states followed suit, even the communist republic of Victoria.
The only one in recent times to have suggested reintroducing death/"inheritance" tax is a sitting Labor MP, who suggested 2 years ago that any inheritance over $10 million be taxed at 35%, and the funds be given to youths when they turn 25 to pay off HECS debts ect.
When quizzed about his suggestion during this (2019) election campaign, he said he no longer supports the introduction of death/inheritance tax.

Y'see this sort of blame the other for your own sins being a standard left wing strategy these days is precisely why right wing populism is on the march world wide. Anybody who works for a living has worked out left wingers are just parasitic thieves.
