They should be self policed mel.
They have a board etc.... and editorial staff etc....
Problem is LW bias is endemic in those people ... I did explain this earlier.
The ABC haven't reflected our political landscape for decades.

Again.... it is against their CHARTER... the Government should put a broom through it and fix it.

I worked at ABC TV many years ago, very gay and very left but when I was there they did make an effort to be balanced but I've noticed they've slipped.

A few of their main presenters aren't total lefties, Leigh Sales for example is fairy centrist, a small c christian. I don't mind her most of the time. But ultimately, it's the producers and EPs which drive the agenda and they'll claim they're impartial because they count the minutes of on-air time given to Labor/Liberal but their biases always shine thru.

I gave up watching "our" ABC years ago. There is absolutely nothing on the ABC that I want to watch. I have Foxtel and prefer "Outsiders" to "Insiders".

Like most PC Prog current affairs programs the comedy is all aimed at ridiculing Conservatives or the Political Right. This trend to mix comedy with current affairs via a biased commentary is distorting the truth and providing a one sides political bias in the ABC and the mainstream media. EG 10s THE PROJECT and at least another 2 big shows on the ABC, that pretend to be comedy shows... not to mention Q&A etc.

Time to hire and fire... get some Conservative voices on the programs and sack a whole lot of writers and program directors...
