It is now clear that the underlying principle of the Abbott Government is to be ignorance: not only are the masses to be kept as far as possible in the dark, but the Government itself does not want to know.

Thus last week, in the wake of more disturbing pictures of the mistreatment of Australia's live animal exports on ABC television, the Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce declared that he had cancelled the previous government's plans for an independent inspector of animal welfare; to hear the facts from a qualified and impartial observer would only confuse him. After all, he already knew what he was going to do and he did not need any distractions.

This, of course, follows logically from the Government's approach to climate change. Having already ended funding for the Climate Commission headed by Tim Flannery in what was a blatant but unsuccessful attempt to kill the messenger (Flannery and the Commission are pressing on with the aid of private contributions), the Minister Against The Environment, Greg Hunt, now dismisses the latest findings from the independent Climate Institute as "the silliest report I've ever read".

Greg Hunt is a twat. What an embarrassment.

FORMER Treasury secretary Ken Henry has described Tony Abbott's direct action scheme for tackling climate change as "bizarre" and predicted the Coalition will wind up implementing an emissions trading scheme.

Dr Henry said the public service had been advising Australian governments for the past decade that an emissions trading scheme was the least economically damaging way to satisfy their emissions reduction commitments.

Perhaps he should stick to advising on things he knows about then in future.

Thus last week, in the wake of more disturbing pictures of the mistreatment of Australia's live animal exports on ABC television, a phenomenon all across the Islamic world... the Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce declared that he had cancelled the previous government's plans for an independent inspector of animal welfare; to hear the facts from a qualified and impartial observer would only confuse him. oh dear, please don't misquote and confuse your thoughts and words with his... that's being dishonest... After all, he already knew what he was going to do and he did not need any distractions. better than labor who never seem to know what to do and whose policy implementation always ends up a mess eh. Want I should provide a list?

This, of course, follows logically from the Government's approach to climate change. So we can include Roach and Neferti as being right whingers who don't have a clue about the political party they voted for. It's so much easier for them to bitch about the person asking the questions.

I'll read through this 52 page document, which is more than either of them have been inclined to do. Next time they call someone from the left a liar - be on notice readers - that these two RW's know nothing. The other one will come out of the woodwork shortly no doubt. Their insults and attacks to shut up the opposition are a smokescreen to distract others from noticing their ignorance.

This appalling lack of knowledge is also why RW's have never had the ability to logically defend the party they support.

Well for starters you seem to hardly ever get anything right these days.
BTW you are a whinger... everyone else pales into insignificance.. I'm not whinging I'm posting facts and correcting lies... learn to tell the difference.
You have no idea who I voted for.
you bitch about people... i waste most my time replying to your bitches.
I read their policies before the election mantra. gee i wonder why you didn't?
I keep telling you and the mindless I'm not RW and I don't see why you should get away with being a smug hypocrite... so expect people to keep picking you up on that till you stop it.

It would seem we are posting facts and you and your mate are getting facts confused or just plain wrong. You need to stop lying mantra... We're not trying to shut you up :du :du :du

Finally, a thread where Moantra admits she is nothing but a clueless whinger who can't read or use google.

Firstly, I suggest dunking your keyboard in a solution of 40% pure alcohol to remove the bile you have accumulated on it over the years, 30% lemon juice to remind it that not everything that comes into contact with it is quite a sour as you and 30% solution of the latest green advocated cleaning agent just so it knows that shit doesn't work.

Once you've managed to do that, we can move onto step 2.

Let's NOT embrace the new government's policies:

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/n ... bott-audit" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"A new opinion poll underscores the substantial political difficulties associated with some of the more ambitious reform proposals that could emerge from the Abbott government’s new commission of audit process.

An Essential poll published on Tuesday shows public disquiet with a number of the potential directions floated in the lead-up to the creation of the new commission of audit – the first inquiry of its type at the federal level since 1996."

Mind you, we don't know that these things ARE policy, because they consistently refuse to release any.
