Albanese or another will be their "filler".... while the negative sentiment towards the ALP dies down as they attempt to rebuild what’s left of their party, though ultimately, Shorten wants his moment of glory, it's just a question of when he deems the time is right to make his grand entrance. This is historically what Labor have done.

That said, he may take an entirely new approach, (go against the typical ALP protocol) to allude to a sense of leadership stability (given the Gillard Rudd dysfunction) and just install himself sooner than later, even if he knows he'll lose the next couple or so elections.

:Hi

Both avenues have their pro's and con's.

Either way....Showbags wants his day in the sun, so whoever assumes the ALP leadership will do so with an understanding that it's only a temp position, so should not get too settled.

If I were Albanese, I wouldn’t be engraving my name on the door, thats for sure.
But I guess he'd know this himself.
He or another filler will be another expendable like Beasley or Latham unless Showbags decides to break ALP tradition and assume the ALP leadership straight away.

The really really BIG question is whether Showbags will be dumping his wife for his pregnant floozy on the side whilst at the NRL grand final :thumb

No, he's been there, done that to estranged wife Debbie Beale....though there was a rumour he'd got another staffer up the duff a little while back.... about 12 or so months ago I believe.

Not sure though.

I'm surprised he managed to get it up, with all that blood flowing to his rather large dwarf like head.

I wonder how Labors sacred cows will take to Bill Shorten ...the "nice guy" who dumped his wife for his very pregnant girlfriend at the grand final so she wouldn’t make a public scene.

Then there was this ...

Bills a lady’s man.... to a point.

So long as they know their place and do as they’re told.

Now about that rumour....

Bill Shorten would make a great candidate for dwarf throwing events!

 .... I cant remember where I heard it but I recall someone (probably from the AWU) mentioning he wore built-up shoes...not sure if it's because he's got an actual foot problem, or like some men, felt he needed a few more inches.

Either way, his large, dwarf-like head more than compensates for his shortenish stature.. 8-)

The 2nd candidate forum is at 1pm EST today at the Victorian Trades Hall.
Watch live on ABC24 or Sky.

Also, Labor members will have received their ballot forms to vote for Labors next leader, so if you have not received yours by Monday, you should contact your states Labor branch.

Labors right-wing power broker Bill Shorten has been using pro-refugee and pro-feminist dialogue during his leadership debates.

Shorten wants to increase the quoter of both woman in federal politics and our refugee intake it seems.

8-)

In other news....

Shorten's office has admitted he workshopped a question with a Labor member who later posed it to him and Anthony Albanese during last night's Labor leadership debate. - See more at: http://www.theaustralian.com.au/nationa ... rfRD8.dpuf

Shorten believes he has the numbers.
Is confident caucus will pick him to be Labors next leader.

I think if Bill Shorten will knife his own, (Gillard and Rudd) and be unfaithful to loved ones ....what’s to stop him knifing Albo at a later stage should he not win the leadership this time round anyway?
