PS
Oh, the AEC site has:

PUP 39,414
LNP 38,912

Therefore PUP is 502 votes ahead .... as Rorschach said. :meet

Some very accurate local editorial comment here.

PUP's pre Election day effort concerning postal and pre-polling effort was appalling.

Your point Aussie was?
I was incorrect.... apparently not eh.

Hint; I very rarely am.
Comes from checking the facts before you make a statement... unlike some others here.

Why don't you have a look at what you posted, then look at the AEC figures and admit where you were in serious error. Or not.

I don't care.

but no

way behind on first preferences palmer was 700+ votes ahead earlier in the week the end of the week 500 in front.

With over 7000 votes to go will clive get over the line.
THE LNP is closing in on Clive Palmer in the seat of Fairfax, with the mining billionaire's lead trimmed to just 500 votes.

The mining billionaire led the LNP's Ted O'Brien by more than 700 votes on a two-candidate-preferred basis yesterday afternoon, but that lead has been whittled down further.

There's still more than 7000 votes to be tallied including absentee, pre-poll and postal ballots.

Counting is expected to resume on Monday.

Overnight, it was reported that poor handwriting was becoming an issue for scrutineers and could play a part in whether Mr Palmer took the seat.

In a seat where every vote matters, vigilant scrutineers for both sides have been vigorously challenging messy ballot papers as the count continues on the Sunshine Coast.

You are a legend. You cannot even find your own error. As I said Roach, I don't care about it.

What part of "I don't care," did you not comprehend, Roach? Go and annoy someone else about it.
