That also is ridiculous.Did you see what areas dont have fluoride? The areas where the population is predominantly old retired ppl. They prolly dont have any teeth anyway. Why should they be made to drink fluoride?

What happens if a community stops adding fluoride to the community water system? (Back to Top)
Antigo, Wisconsin, discontinued water fluoridation in 1960. By 1965, 2nd grade children had 200% more tooth decay, and 4th graders had 70% more. Antigo reinstituted fluoridation. Studies in other communities show similar results.
Although its not as if QLDers would miss having teeth
Think of the children...

In recent years, Qld Health let it be known that flouride was being tested in the Brisbane water supply system. Almost immediately, there were complaints of outbreaks of all sorts of ailments, sheeted home to the flouride.

It was bullshit.

Balance between the common good and individual rights.

Less dental problems + Less health problem= more money better spent elsewhere

No one's forcing them to drink the water.

In fact drinking water is downright un-Australian, when there is beer available (unless there's only XXXX).

Over the lips over the gums eh.
Looks like it makes contact with teeth after all.
I should imagine it spends quite a time there whilst being drunk, and whilst brushing and gargling. :f :oops Where's the borg emoticom?
That is ridiculous. You can apply it with toothpaste while brushing your teeth,. No need for the mass medication and no need to ingest it. Why are there warnings on toothpaste not to eat it? Because fluoride is a poison.

Spot
no it is not poisonous.
It's all in the quantity
for people too lazy to brush and floss I'd suggest it's been a Godsend.

Are you a Qld Borg Spot?

Ppl pay for their own dental in this country. Money not spent on it. Except in order to mass medicate.

Yes it is poisonous. If you have more than 1millionth part or something it will kill you. Some ppl can handle it but others cant. Its mass medication though and a government should not ever have that power.

Yeah im in QLD and i even lived in wondai for a few years (1 of the places in the article).
