I like to think of "conservatism" as the glue that holds a society together. Germany, India and Japan are all conservative societies but all very different. In that sense we are all conservatives because no one really wants society to fall apart.

"Liberals" tend to think that outside forces as causing misery while "conservatives" tend to blame the individual.

It is silliness not to take into account both interior and exterior factors which obviates the whole left/right argument.

I vote Liberal but every Political Questionnaire I have ever done, I come out as a Libertarian.

Libertarianism is, as the name implies, the belief in liberty. Libertarians strive for a free, peaceful, abundant world where each individual has the maximum opportunity to pursue his or her dreams and to realize his full potential.

I think I an a Libertarian always however started left leaning now just a little more to the right.

Ideals move as you grow older and learn that those ideals are crushed by the observation of so many abusers existing, thinking that they have the right to a state funded lifestyle rather than the intention which was to maintain their right to a life (not life style).
