Re: A new low
'Same sex/gender marriage' per se.
I would say "I'm of two minds" on the topic/issue/subject, but the more I consider it, the more I realise I'm all over the place. I would not say I'm undecided, just that I neither support nor oppose. Not ambivalence per se, but more indifference.
Personally, I don't believe in marriage, as I've never had any desire for it, nor procreation.
I'm too selfish to want or have offspring, or be responsible to or for another, ie a wife.
This is probably because of learned misogyny. That is I tend not to trust females. But that sentiment also extends to effeminate males.
Being an imperfect being myself, who has fun with their perceived faults rather than trying to correct them, I don't really give a rat's backside what others do if it doesn't impact on others, particularly me. So long as individuals indulge in their activities in private I have no concern, but as a closet conservative I'm not fond of witnessing queer activity in public. I'd prefer they keep their distance.
If a couple of opposing genders desire marriage, that's their business. So by the same token, a couple of same genders desiring marriage, however seemingly weird/strange/odd is also none of my business. I just don't care.
To me, as a hetro male I see marriage as a liability, giving another unreasonable rights to my assets, so if a poof wants to make them self vulnerable to legal swindles, that's their problem.
I'm under the impression the religious anti homosexual marriage sentiment was incited by Roman Emperors' habit of marrying eunuchs. Nero reputedly had a boy castrated and married him. Being unsure of such details, I did a search and found there's quite a long history regarding homosexual marriage.
Feel free to cherry pick and pick to bits according to your own inclination >

If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

I support civil unions, but oppose gay marriage unless some real reason (other than just "i want it") can be given.
Demanding that gay relationships be called exactly the same thing as hetro relationships is like the idiotic PC crap (which thankfully seems to be losing favour), where everything has to be "gender neutral".

Are you realizing the unfortuancy of the leftist stand?
The inch given to the left is taken by a mile by the extremists who seem to infest the left.
Even the conservative left are silenced in their opposition by the extremists in the left
Welcome to to what your ilk have given birth to.
You nazi fucking sympathizer

It is interesting that everyone is all for free speach until that speach offends them!!! but on Gay marriage, it astounds me that anyone would want to seek recognition from an organisation that does not want them! My personal view is that let gay people be married why should they not be as miserable as the rest of us!!!
Really cival unions would do wouldnt they?

Surely this women is politically dead.....

Former One Nation leader Pauline Hanson says she is planning to run in this year's federal election.
Ms Hanson says she believe there's no "representation" of Australian life and people in parliament.
